About

Started in January 2000, the Oldtown Salinas Foundation is operated  by Joel R. Panzer and Frank Savino. The Foundation supports a number of community events and causes. Over the past few years, these include two fully endowed scholarships at Hartnell College, Youth Orchestra Salinas, The Veterans Banner Project , the Salinas Valley Food and Wine Festival, the annual Veteran’s  Day Parade and South County Animal Rescue. The Foundation also provides a community forum for government, civic and most non-profit groups to interact with our clientele.

Building a better stronger community by supporting local charity and non-profit groups in the city of Salinas

Our Mission

Our Mission

We believe in community-a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals. One way we to do this is we dedicate our time and talents while raising funds and awareness to the community. We bring the Salinas Valley together by hosting multiple events that showcase what our community has to offer.
